I finished the FAFSA!! & other stuff

Thank You God!! I finally finished the first submission of my FAFSA.

Bob Storey got the info in the nick of time, and prepared estimates so that I would have all the info I needed to fill it out online.

Dad was also great. Even though he was really busy with work for the Hearts Center and business work, he got all the neccessary info in time.

I'm so glad I finally have the "FAFSA blues" off my back. . .

Tonight while I was surfing, I checked Wikipedia and found that there was no page on El Morya, so I gathered some info on his different embodiments from various websites and submitted the painting of him. The ascended master page now links to the El Morya page.

Hopefully, as people see the page, it'll receive a few good edits.

Right now I need to work on setting up my own website for Computer Lessons and a repository of my other pages.

We just received a new World Today/Current Events project that is about researching a current world dictator. I have the president/dictator of China Hu Jintao.

Brooke looked at some of my photos today and her favorites were the wheat-blue photo and the abstract shape photo (black and white) that I did of the rocking chair on Wednesday 2/23/05.

I asked Kacie today if she had a date for the Prom, and she said no. For some reason I didn't have the gumption to ask her. But I WILL tomorrow!!!

Dad started the first workshop of the Hearts Center this past weekend. Some people were pretty emotional. There was a really nice hispanic lady named Gloria.

Tomorrow I have to clean the Tennis courts after school. . .Thank you God for reminding me.

Several months ago, when people in our Junior class were participating in the stock market game,
I had a gut feeling that Apple would rise above it's share price of approx. $30.

That feeling was absolutely right!!!

In April or May of 2004 Apple was starting to climb over $30.

Now Apple stock is up to $80.90 per share!!

Buying only 1 share of stock would have made me almost $50. . . holy macaroni!!

The price started climbing in late October of 2004!!

Between 11/15/2004 to 11/22/2004 the stock went up $9 in just one week!!

Even in August of 2000 (stock market peak) It was worth a mere $60/share!!

Stocks were Jun 2000-August 2000.

How To Whiten Teeth in Photoshop (any Version)

You don't need special toothpaste if you've got Photoshop! The dodge tool makes quick work of whitening and brightening your smile.

Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 5 minutes
Here's How:

1. Open the image.
2. Go to Image > Duplicate and close the original.
3. Go to View > New View. This will open a duplicate window of the same image.
4. Zoom one of the windows so that you can see the teeth as large as possible. Set the other window view to 100%.
5. Arrange the two windows so you can see both the zoomed view and the 100% view at the same time.
6. Select the Dodge tool.
7. In the options palette select midtones and set the exposure to about 20%.
8. Select a small, soft brush. Be sure the brush is smaller than the teeth.
9. Carefully paint over the teeth with the dodge tool.

Tips:Too much brightness will make the image look faked. If you overdo it, go to Edit > Fade in Photoshop 6.0 or later. (Filter > Fade Dodge Tool in Photoshop 5.5 or earlier)For better accuracy, select the teeth before working with the dodge tool.
